Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that support all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and development.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, providing regular feedback on development.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in accordance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to team meetings and shared responsibilities.
- Actively participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Required Skills
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable for children, parents, and staff.
- Proven ability to plan and implement engaging educational activities.
- Strong observational and assessment skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- A current paediatric first aid certificate.
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Familiarity with digital record-keeping systems for child development.
