Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of supply chain data, including inventory levels, lead times, demand forecasts, and transportation costs, to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.
- Utilize statistical modeling and analytical tools to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and plan capacity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of supply chain processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on supply chain health, performance, and improvement initiatives to management.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays, or quality issues.
- Support the selection and implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, advanced analytics tools).
- Prepare detailed presentations and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress to various stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, seeking innovative solutions to enhance supply chain resilience and responsiveness.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling).
- Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
