Job Description
Are you a seasoned Business Systems Analyst with a passion for transforming complex business challenges into streamlined, effective technological solutions? Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our vibrant team in Kerrisdale, Vancouver. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical implementation, demanding a unique blend of analytical rigor, communication prowess, and project management skills.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving our organizational efficiency and innovation. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams, meticulously gathering, documenting, and analyzing requirements for various projects. Your day-to-day will involve diving deep into current business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and crafting comprehensive specifications that guide our development efforts. This isn’t just about documenting ‘what’ is needed; it’s about understanding the ‘why’ and proposing the ‘how’ to achieve optimal outcomes.
You will lead discovery sessions, facilitate workshops, and conduct interviews to elicit precise business needs. Translating these needs into clear, actionable functional and non-functional requirements will be a core aspect of your contribution. Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for creating detailed use cases, process flows, and wireframes to illustrate proposed solutions. Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice-versa will be key to successful project delivery.
Beyond requirements gathering, you will play a vital role in the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation and post-launch support. This includes participating in system design, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), and assisting with change management activities. You will work collaboratively with product managers, developers, quality assurance analysts, and end-users, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment across all project phases. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, possess an insatiable curiosity for problem-solving, and are eager to make a tangible impact on business operations, we encourage you to apply. Join Hiring.zycto and become a pivotal force in shaping our technological future.
