Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Planner to join our vibrant team in Cardiff Bay. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs.
- Generate and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and finished goods based on demand forecasts and production plans.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to refine demand forecasts and align supply plans.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including material shortages, delays, and capacity constraints.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings, presenting supply plans and performance metrics.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, fostering strong partnerships for long-term reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply planning process.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Supply Planner or in a similar supply chain role.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and S&OP processes.
- Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Advanced analytical skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across departments.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
