Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular cycle counts and conduct physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, optimizing storage space.
- Utilize inventory management software (ERP/WMS) to track stock movements and maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with warehousing, procurement, and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, forecast demands, and recommend adjustments.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new inventory management strategies and tools.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments regarding inventory status and issues.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar supply chain role (minimum 3 years).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
