Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students in classrooms during the short-term absence of their regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students are engaged with the set tasks.
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and manage any disruptions effectively, in line with school policies.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Respond to student questions and provide support to keep them on task.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, adhering to safeguarding procedures.
- Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student progress or incidents.
- Provide feedback on student engagement and completion of work to relevant teaching staff.
