Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, invoices, and other administrative paperwork with meticulous accuracy.
- Track and trace shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and resolving any transit-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the optimization of operational processes.
- Assist in negotiating rates with freight carriers and managing vendor relationships to secure optimal service and cost efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in logistics coordination or a similar supply chain role.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Transportation Management Systems – TMS, Warehouse Management Systems – WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with a strong aptitude for multitasking.
