Job Description

Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Shaughnessy, Vancouver. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating background checks.
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding for new hires, including preparing new employee paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a welcoming first day experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and answering related questions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws.
  • Coordinate HR-related meetings, training sessions, and company events.
  • Generate various HR reports and analytics as needed to support strategic decision-making.
  • Process HR-related documentation such as employment verification letters, status changes, and terminations.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive company culture.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources Coordinator or similar role.
  • Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Solid understanding of Canadian employment laws and HR best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Working towards or possessing a CPHR/CHRP designation.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing support.
