Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join our vibrant Human Resources team in Eastside, Lansing. This critical role serves as the backbone of our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers from initial contact through to onboarding. As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruitment process, contributing directly to our ability to attract and secure top-tier talent.

Your day-to-day will involve a diverse range of activities that keep our hiring engine running smoothly. You’ll be the primary point of contact for interview scheduling, managing complex calendars across multiple stakeholders, and ensuring all necessary logistics are handled with precision. This includes preparing interview packets, booking conference rooms or virtual meeting links, and sending timely communications to candidates. You’ll also be instrumental in managing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity, and generating reports that provide valuable insights into our recruitment pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews (virtual and in-person) across multiple time zones and calendars for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Manage candidate communication, including interview confirmations, reminders, and post-interview follow-ups, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate information and recruitment data.
  • Prepare and distribute interview materials, including resumes, job descriptions, and interviewer guides.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters and coordinating background checks.
  • Support recruiters with sourcing activities, screening resumes, and managing job postings on various platforms.
  • Generate recruitment reports and provide data insights on pipeline activity, time-to-hire, and other key metrics.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and internal stakeholders regarding recruitment-related inquiries.
  • Participate in ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as needed to support overall department goals.

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) – Greenhouse, Workday, or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data reporting.
  • Familiarity with employer branding strategies and social media recruitment.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing or customer service role.
