Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth client needs analyses to identify insurance requirements.
- Develop and present customized insurance proposals covering life, health, property, and other relevant products.
- Educate clients on various insurance options, policy terms, and benefits.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and reviews.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and cultivate leads.
- Process applications, renewals, and policy changes accurately and efficiently.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and new product offerings.
- Adhere strictly to all regulatory guidelines and company compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service.
- Assist clients with claims processing as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid BC insurance license (Life & Accident/Sickness minimum)
- Proven ability in sales, client relationship management, or a related field
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- High degree of professionalism and ethical conduct
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Insurance Advisor or in financial services
- General Insurance License (Level 1 or 2) is an asset
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
