Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee vehicle acquisition, disposal, registration, and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Manage fleet budget, control costs, and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Implement and manage fleet tracking, telematics, and other technology solutions.
- Recruit, train, and supervise fleet personnel, including drivers and maintenance staff.
- Monitor driver performance, enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular safety audits.
- Negotiate with vendors for vehicle purchases, parts, fuel, and maintenance services.
- Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, costs, and key metrics.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for fleet-related incidents.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, procurement, and asset management.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, safety standards, and fleet compliance.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and telematics systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
