Key Responsibilities
- Process export orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and airlines to arrange timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Prepare and manage all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
- Ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and company policies.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues.
- Manage import/export licenses and permits as required for specific goods and destinations.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of all export activities.
- Monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays or problems.
- Handle letters of credit and other payment terms related to international transactions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for export processes and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an export coordination or logistics role.
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and customs regulations.
- Proficiency in preparing export documentation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent qualification in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Knowledge of Incoterms 2020.
- Fluency in a second language relevant to international trade.
- Dangerous Goods (DG) awareness certification.
