Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support to clients for cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtual machines, networking, and security.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to escalate and resolve critical incidents.
- Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks for common issues and resolutions.
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Assist clients with understanding and implementing best practices for cloud security and efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in cloud support or systems administration roles.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
