Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and potentially live chat.
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within set time limits.
- Handle difficult customers and complex situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Take the extra mile to engage customers and build sustainable relationships of trust.
- Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience and streamline processes.
Required Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Communications).
- Experience in a fast-paced contact center environment.
- Knowledge of specific industry software or tools used in customer service.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud).
