Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair duties across various trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, implementing effective and timely solutions.
- Assist with construction, renovation, and installation projects as required.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and materials efficiently.
- Provide clear communication on project status, issues, and solutions.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled operative or similar role.
- Strong practical skills in at least three trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in a trade discipline.
- Experience working in a commercial or industrial maintenance setting.
- Basic IT skills for reporting and communication.
- First Aid certification.
- IPAF or PASMA certification (desirable).
