Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative tours of available units and community amenities to prospective residents.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and prepare lease agreements accurately and efficiently.
- Achieve and maintain targeted occupancy rates through proactive sales and marketing strategies.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the property, local market conditions, and competitor offerings.
- Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for all parties.
- Assist with resident retention programs and foster positive resident relations.
- Input and update prospect and resident information accurately in property management software.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure high standards of property appearance and maintenance.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales, customer service, or leasing role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Buildium).
- Knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act regulations in British Columbia.
- Fluency in additional languages is an asset.
- Experience in the real estate or property management industry.
