Key Responsibilities
- Setting up examination rooms correctly according to strict guidelines, including distributing materials and seating plans.
- Distributing examination papers and supplementary materials accurately and efficiently to candidates.
- Clearly communicating examination rules and regulations to all candidates at the start of each exam session.
- Actively supervising candidates throughout the entire examination period to prevent malpractice and ensure a fair environment.
- Responding to candidate queries and requests (e.g., for extra paper, toilet breaks) in accordance with examination board guidelines.
- Dealing with unexpected situations, such as student illness or emergencies, calmly and effectively, following established procedures.
- Ensuring the utmost security and confidentiality of examination papers and completed scripts before, during, and after examinations.
- Collecting and collating all examination scripts carefully and accurately at the conclusion of each exam.
- Reporting any irregularities, suspected breaches of conduct, or significant incidents to the Lead Invigilator or Exams Officer promptly.
- Maintaining a quiet, orderly, and focused atmosphere that is conducive to concentration for all candidates.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations pertinent to the examination environment.
